Gunadasa Kapuge: A Legendary Singer of Sri Lanka
Gunadasa Kapuge was a Sri Lankan singer, composer and musician who is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Sri Lankan music. Kapuge's musical journey was not always smooth. In 1973, following his marriage, he lost his job due to political revenge. He had to struggle for several years to make ends meet.
